The Community Foundation for San Benito County is proud to announce that once again we will be sponsoring the annual National Philanthropy Day for the eleventh year in a row. Last year, 61 nonprofit organizations attended this inspiring event and recognized 76 generous contributors in our community.
This year, we would like to include your organization at this celebration of community spirit to recognize and commemorate this national proclamation. This is our chance to step into the spotlight for a brief moment and remind our communities, our society, and the world that the spirit of giving is alive and well.
Please mark your calendars now for Tuesday, November 15, 2011 for this year's event.
The event planned is a Dinner at San Juan Oaks Golf Club from 5:30 - 8:00 pm. The cost per person for attendance is $30 and seating is limited to 8 guests, including honoree, per organization. Reservations are not confirmed until payment is received. All payments must be made through U.S. Postal Service or dropped by our office.
Nominations and photographs should be submitted electronically through our website. If you experience technical difficulties submitting the nominations/photographs, you may email them directly to jfrusetta@cffsbc.org

2011 Philanthropy Day Honorees
The Foundation began hosting a luncheon on National Philanthropy Day in 2001, and since then, hundreds of citizens of San Benito County have been recognized for their leadership role within the community. Each year the list of honorees seems to grow longer as more of our neighbors and friends step up to the plate and make change happen. The Foundation would like to congratulate those individuals who were selected in 2011.
